There’s so much planning to a wedding; it’s a lot of work but so much fun! Now, you are searching for the perfect photographer who will capture the spirit, ambience, and love of not only the wedding ceremony itself but you both as a couple. These will be the cherished photographs that your family will share with the years to come. And, in the age of social media, this is arguably one of the most important aspects of the wedding booking process.
Here’s a quick list of things to be sure to ask before you put a deposit down for a photographer.
Is my date available?
How far in advance do I need to book with you?
How long have you been in business?
How many weddings have you shot?
Do you specialize in indoor or outdoor events?
Do you shoot in digital or film?
Will you be my actual photographer or will it be one of your associates? Can I meet the photographer who will be on site?
Will you need an assistant? If so, how many will you need for my wedding size? What are the additional fees?
Can I give you a list of specific shots we will need?
How would you describe your photography style in one word?
Do you have a backup plan in case you are sick on the actual day?
What type of equipment do you use? Do you have backup equipment?
